Delight of Sorrow

I wanted my soul to burn,

So, I let it dwell in the sun.

To feel the magic of the pain.

I’d never know I’m blessed,

Until I’ve stripped myself for the rays.

It has filled my hollowness to the best,

Now my secrets are being praised.

Light has made a home into my scars,

And has turned; my brown skin into a blue star.

Those rays are aware of my life; sun couldn’t burn me it made me alright.

Today, I’ve more of me. ◆
