The Need of Some in the Place of Many

Far off lands do call names foreign
As air bridges begin to emerge
To illuminate golden fantasies
Haunting but unlikely still,

But only temperance and fortitude
Now exist to hold desires accountable
To a world wrapped in primrose lenses
So vastly removed from the dying—

Whose wails do propel ignorance
Far above skies changing
And winds contorted
By the hands of men

Who see their freedom infringed upon
Whilst some struggle to breathe
And others sit slowly succumbing
To the vain ignorance—

Of individualism unmasked and fantastical. ◆
